The Formula
The formula is: "After I [CURRENT HABIT], I will [NEW HABIT]."
- After I pour my morning coffee, I will meditate for one minute.
- After I take off my work shoes, I will change into gym clothes.
This removes the ambiguity of "when" to do it. You can even create a habit stack—a whole routine chained together.
