Human beings are wired to follow the path of least resistance. If cookies are on the counter, you will eat them. If your phone is next to your bed, you will scroll.
Don't rely on willpower. Throw them out. Make the bad habit invisible and high-friction. Conversely, make the good habit the path of least resistance.
